Mooresville Arts features two galleries showcasing regional and local artists, art classes, education, and exhibits in a historic train depot. In 1982, Mooresville Arts was incorporated in North Carolina as a non-profit corporation whose purpose is to provide art and art appreciation for members and the general public.

In present day, Mooresville Arts continues to thrive as a non-profit organization that is an advocate for the artist and serves as an artistic and cultural resource for the Mooresville and Lake Norman community
