The Harvey B. Gantt Center for African- American Arts + Culture (formerly the Afro- American Cultural Center) presents, preserves and celebrates excellence in the art, history and culture of African-Americans and people of African descent.

The 46,500-square-foot Gantt Center is located in the area once occupied by the historic Brooklyn neighborhood, the previously thriving center of the black community which was razed in the 1960s.

Paid parking for Levine Center for the Arts is located across Tryon Street from the Gantt. The entrance to the garage is at 101 W. Brooklyn Village Avenue. Parking coupons available at the Gantt admissions desk.
