Myma Monthly Artist Grant

Myma artist grant is a monthly juried grant that provides an unrestricted $500 award to one artist each month. In addition to the winner, our independent jurors recognize 5 artists as honorable mentions for each edition. We publish a written or video profile of the selected artists on myma's spotlight page and social channels.
Submissions for each edition are open through the end of each month. To ensure accessibility and inclusivity, applications are free.
Homiens Art Prize

The Homiens Art Prize, which awards over $12,000 USD annually to artists, is an internationally celebrated event that elevates art careers to new heights. Open to all art forms and artists internationally.
Artworks completed in any year are eligible, and there are no theme or size restrictions. Artists who enter retain full ownership of their submitted works and are free to exhibit or display them elsewhere at any time. Homiens celebrates selected artists across their media, exhibiting their art online where it is viewed by artists and collectors throughout the world. The gallery sponsors a platform for artists to network and collaborate, reach a global audience of buyers and collectors, gain institutional validation, and locate opportunities in the professional artistic industries.
- This round, 3 winning artists and 12 finalists will exhibit with Homiens as part of their seasonal exhibition program.
- Each winning artist receives $1,000 USD, may participate in an optional interview, and may request a letter of recommendation.
The Hopper Prize

The Hopper Prize was established to provide grants, visibility, and career enhancing validation to artists who demonstrate a serious commitment to their work.
We accept submissions for grants through a bi-annual open call. For each grant cycle, a new cohort of artists is selected to receive financial support and widespread exposure. Grant winners and finalists are chosen solely on the basis of artistic excellence and the promise of future potential.

Artist Grant invites visual artists worldwide, age 18 and older, to apply for a grant. Deadline: November 15, 2025. Submissions are accepted in a wide range of media, including: painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, ceramics, mixed media, installation, and other new or alternative visual media.
Please note: Submissions for music, theater, dance, or film/video are not accepted.
The Southern Prize and State Fellowships

The South Arts Southern Prize and State Fellowships acknowledge, support, and celebrate the highest quality artistic work being created in the American South. The program is open to individual artists living in the South Arts region: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. The cohort of nine-state fellows will be selected through a two-tiered selection process by a national jury. Each of the nine-state fellowship awardees will receive a $5,000 state fellowship and will compete for one of the two larger Southern Prizes. State fellowship recipients will be required to attend the awards ceremony in late summer 2026.
A second national jury will select the Southern Prize Winner and Finalist. Jurors will make their selections based on artistic excellence that reflects and represents the array of artistic expression of the region.
