The Eighteenth annual Art in Autumn Outdoor Arts and Crafts Festival takes place Saturday, September 20, 2025, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Main Street in Downtown Weaverville, North Carolina, located in Buncombe county 7 miles from downtown Asheville. Sponsored by the Weaverville Business Association, the festival features 114 juried artists and craftspeople and live music. In recent years, Weaverville has established itself as a culturally rich destination point, with its now well-established street festival each September. It has earned a reputation for its quaint atmosphere, artistic spirit, and distinctive shops and restaurants.

The Arts Council of York County presents the 36th Annual Juried Competition at the Center for the Arts, 121 E. Main St., Rock Hill, SC. EXHIBITION | August 1 - September 5, 2025. RECEPTION | Thursday, August 18, 2025 | 5:30 - 7:30 PM. All forms of media are eligible, including video. Limit four pieces per artist.

Exhibition will be open starting September 28 for seven weeks at the Contemporary Art Museum Raleigh. Raleigh Fine Arts Society will publish a catalogue for the Raleigh Fine Arts Society: 2025 North Carolina Artists Exhibition. The Juror will present awards totaling $10,000.

Tiny art rewards the patience and curiosity of its viewers, shifting their perspective and encouraging its audience to laugh, marvel, and wonder at the possibilities held within. Pocket Places is an exploration of those possibilities and the worlds held within.

Book//Zine will be at The Goat Farm in Atlanta, Georgia, on Saturday October 11, 2025.

For our upcoming exhibit, Consumed, we are looking for unconventional reuse artwork that cleverly integrates the detritus of overconsumption—things that are broken, cast aside, single use plastics, missing parts, etc—materials that are no longer desirable and/or at the end of their life cycle. We want to inspire our customers with unique techniques for repurposing our materials, to show them things they haven't seen before and expand their idea of what is possible.

The format for this exhibit will highlight a small collection of works from 6-10 artists. All mediums are welcome and jurying will be based on the cohesiveness of the work presented, as well as the uniqueness of the artist’s approach. The final collection of pieces by each artist will need to fit into a roughly 6 cubic foot area.

Pop Culture, A Small Works Show is a themed exhibit, inspired by pop culture in today’s society. The theme is up to the artist’s interpretation, and he/she may submit any work as long as it fits somehow with the media, subject matter or presentation of pop culture. All fine art media is eligible, including but not limited to: painting, drawing, mixed media, photography, collage, digital art, pottery, glass, metal, wood, and sculpture.

The Art of Fiber is a themed exhibit, inspired by the medium and subject matter of fiber. The theme is up to the artist’s interpretation, and he/she may submit any work as long as it fits somehow with the media of fiber arts. All fine art and fine craft media is eligible, including but not limited to: screen-printing, embroidery, quilting, weaving, knitting, felting, rug hooking, crochet, macrame, silk painting, tatting, mini loom, spinning, and bobbin lace. This exhibit will be displayed in the Depot’s Center Gallery.

The Painting Center is seeking submissions for the juried group exhibition "Let Nature In" curated by Kathleen Beausoleil and Shazzi Thomas. The exhibition will be held in person and on Artsy from July 22 – August 16, 2025, with an opening reception on July 24. "Let Nature In" will feature contemporary artists who continue to engage with the natural world by offering fresh perspectives on our ever-evolving relationship with its environment. From the earliest cave paintings of trees and plants to the intricate floral motifs of 10th-century Eastern art, nature has been a constant source of creativity - an open invitation to reflect and create.

The Cabarrus Arts Council is happy to present, Art Walk on Union St. Saturday, September 6, 2025. Artists are assigned a 10 x 10 vendor space on the day of the event. 100 spaces are available.

We’re seeking artwork that explores the following themes through a Black and queer menopausal lens:

The exhibition will take place in Durham, North Carolina, in October 2025, alongside Iranti Eje: A Menopausal Conference for the Global Majority hosted by The Black Girl’s Guide to Surviving Menopause.

The exhibition will highlight diverse artistic disciplines, including painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics, mixed media, and more. Carolina Art Show - Create your Future serves as an inspiring call for artists and attendees alike to explore new possibilities, envision brighter horizons, and connect through the universal language of art.

The event will be free and open to the public August 16, 17, with an exclusive Opening Reception on Friday, August 15th, providing attendees the first opportunity to view and purchase featured artworks. The evening will feature live Music by Sai Collins, catering by Castle Street Kitchen, complementary wine for a $15 ticket. 100% of the ticket sales will go to "Kids Making It". The show will continue through Sunday with daily hours of 10-4 pm and artist meet-and-greets aimed at enriching the community's engagement with the arts.

From fleeting instants to the perpetual flow of the years, Time is an elusive yet powerful concept. It dictates our daily rhythms, ages our bodies, and leaves marks on both the world and our minds. It is ever-changing, never static.

We encourage submissions that explore Time in any of its complex dimensions: personal, historical, emotional, or conceptual. This is an opportunity to showcase how photography can freeze moments, convey the relentless march of time, or reflect on the cyclical nature of existence. The top three submissions will be awarded an exhibition at the American Center for Photographers slated for 2026.

Sertoma Arts Center is seeking submissions for the 2026 Exhibition Program.

The Sertoma Arts Center galleries showcase a broad spectrum of visual arts from local, regional, and national artists. We provide artists with exhibition opportunities and space to engage with the community without collection commission on sales. The galleries are free, open to the public, and are a valued component of the community arts education experience.

Design your own Charlotte SHOUT! poster and enter to be selected as the “face” of Charlotte SHOUT! 2026! We’re looking for a design that’s creative, vibrant, inspiring, and that encompasses all that SHOUT! has to offer.

Posters must be submitted in-person to Charlotte Center City Partners, 200 S. Tryon St., Suite 1600, Charlotte NC, 28202, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. by August 1, 2026. Winner will receive $1000 prize.

The Mooresville Fine Arts Festival is a fine arts festival at the Charles Mack Citizen Center allowing local and regional selected artists to display and sell original fine art. This festival is presented by Mooresville Arts, located in historic downtown Mooresville, North Carolina. The event is open to the public and will be promoted and organized by Mooresville Arts. This will be a juried event, with space for up to 80 artists/booths. Taking place Saturday, November 22, 2025.

The Charlotte Chalk Art Festival (CCAF), a FREE, family-friendly two-day festival, will be held at NoDa Brewing Company North End, 150 W 32nd St, Charlotte, NC 28206, on October 18th and 19th from 12pm to 5pm each day.

CCAF features a street chalk art competition for ages 12-17 and 18+.

Festival goers will watch and cheer on the competitors and the artists creating the street chalk art gallery while enjoying various art-focused activities, music, and performance offerings, patronizing our curated arts, crafts, retail, food, and beverage vendors.
